InvestSoc
 The Investment Society is an intellectual society at the University of Cape Town comprised mainly of Business Science, Actuarial Science and Bachelor of Commerce students, who have a keen interest in the securities exchange and the art of investment. Our principal activities include the Investor Development Program, Simulative Investments (JSE game) and Actual Investments. Through their participation with the society, students acquire and a broader knowledge of the economy and the stock market system. InvestSoc aims not only to equip its members with general knowledge such as the ‘bears and the bulls’, but also aims to develop the practical experience of investing in the securities exchange.
We are a non-profit organization, relying solely on corporate sponsorship. Together with our corporate sponsors, we aspire to cultivate an “investor culture” amongst students.
